Inspired by Rachel Carson’s book "Silent Spring, "Nature in Absentia: A Lost Marshland" focuses on how the current loss of ecological biodiversity within the natural environment due to over-development, pollution, and climate change is in stark contrast to the ever-expanding cultural and racial diversity of The Bronx.
