The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) seeks artists, arts professionals, and community-based organization leaders to serve as panelists for our 2019 grant cycle.
Panelists are an essential component of BCA’s grant-making process, selecting projects and deciding on the distribution of grant funds to Bronx based artists, art collectives, art organizations and other community-based groups. Panelists help foster equitable, transparent and inclusive grant making practices, in accordance with BCA’s mission and values.
Panelists commit to reviewing and scoring applications, and to participating in an in-person meeting to discuss selected projects. First-time panelists are required to participate in an in-person training. Panelists receive an honorarium for their service. All activities take place in the Bronx.
