What draws out my passion for dance and artwork has always been rooted in the people it allows me to cross paths with. Years were spent together developing the work for some projects, while other projects sometimes only took a few hours. Dance is an art form that moves in the now. The engagements made with people from all walks of life and cultural histories individually crafted have been the foundation of my work and inspiration to choreograph, collaborate, and curate. Pizarts has produced several experimental dance films, hosted performance projects internationally in five different countries, reaching thousands of artists, young and seasoned. The art of dance takes no specific form demonstrating its diversity and the essence of blending together. The performances I produce and curate tend to weave the art presented with the artist’s background and the settings and events to spark collaboration. We as a collective immerse ourselves in projects that draw out the person in which the stories are being told. A constant work in progress, we are a global dance hub, inspiring and supporting cross-cultural learning, and collaborative works that explore a multitude of diversities and art forms blending.
