DAVALOIS FEARON (Artistic Director) is a critically acclaimed dancer, teacher, and choreographer born on the island of Jamaica and raised in The Bronx, New York. Fearon received a MFA and AOP fellowship from the University Wisconsin Milwaukee. In 2005, she earned a BFA from the Purchase College Conservatory of Dance the same year she joined the Stephen Petronio Company. She is currently a featured dancer, Bloodlines rehearsal director, and Education Coordinator for the company. Fearon was recently a featured performing artists in “The Skeleton Architecture” curated by Eva Yaa Asantewaa as apart of, Lost and Found Platforms and in 2015, Fearon was recognized by prominent dance writers Wendy Perron and Charmaine Warren as one of the best and most memorable performers of the year. Fearon is the founder and Artistic Director of the Davalois Fearon Dance. Her choreography has been presented nationally and internationally.
