The Bronx Council of the Arts has just released its annual list of winners for the ‘Bronx Recognizes Its Own’ (BRIO) awards.
According to the BCA website, the BRIO award has been providing support to individual Bronx artists for projects in literature, media, visual, and performing arts since 1989. This year each of the 35 recipients will receive a $4,000 grant.
