Artist: William Conlon is a painter, draftsman and printmaker based in New York City and Portland, Maine. Conlon is known for his lively and luminous abstract geometrically based paintings, which are meant to be thoughtfully ambiguous and aesthetically provocative. His art works are part of museum and private collections around the world as are several commissioned pieces for universities and public projects. Conlon recently retired as Professor of Visual Arts, Fordham University in New York City.
