At KHCC, we know that self-expression is an important aspect of positive youth development and we value the tremendous capacity of artistic expression to build confidence, self-esteem, and identity in young people while uniting our larger community. Our unique Poetry and Music Enhancement provides disadvantaged youth, grades 6-12, with opportunities to explore the arts through enriching activities led by community artists, as well as share their voices through arts-based community events.
