LEE & LOW BOOKS is a quality children's book publisher that specializes in multicultural themes. Our goal is to meet the need for books that address children of color by providing books that all children can enjoy and which promote a greater understanding of one another. We publish multicultural literature that is relevant to young readers. Our books feature children/people of color and fall within a range of genres including contemporary and historical fiction, biography, poetry, nonfiction, and more. We are particularly interested in hearing from illustrators whose cultural, ethnic, or racial backgrounds and experiences support their knowledge of diverse cultures. We are open to seeing work from professional illustrators and artists at all levels of experience.
