The Orchestra of The Bronx is The Bronx's only professional symphony orchestra. Our mission, fulfilled since our founding in 1972, the Orchestra has presented concerts of different sizes and shapes in venues all over our borough. Our musicians have also been seen and heard in other parts of New York City, most notably at several 9/11 commemorations at the World Trade Center site. Since 2005, we have also presented The Bronx Messiah; this year (for a third year) this acclaimed presentation will be seen at the Hall of Fame Playhouse at Bronx Community College. As always, all concerts will be presented free of charge.
