Piece on War, is now in it’s 3rd year. This exploration of contrasting elements: peace/war, old/young, east/west—is taking hold. The most recent and second chapter of the project was completed on October 13. Eight young theater artists primarily from the South Bronx, Polish theater director, Wieslaw Górski, Carey Clark, producer and visual director put together a 45-minute performance based on the cast’s experiences of violence told through a series of ‘imaginations’ -The performance is based on true stories of the actors (first act) whose subjects become a series of scenes that are comprised of movement, song, poetry, music. They describe bullying, war, cursing… waves.
