
A graduate of the California College of Art, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Textiles, Jeanine Alfieri heads directly to New York City in 1989. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout NYC and the tri-state area. Including the African American Museum of Philadelphia, the Belskie Museum, the Rubin Museum and the Bronx Museum of the Arts. She has won numerous awards in sculpture and is a 2013 BRIO recipient, (Bronx Recognizes it’s Own). She was also awarded Best in Sculpture from Manhattan Arts International and received the Medal of Honor in Sculpture from NAWA. Alfieri is a member of the National Association of Women Artists, The Bronx Art Alliance and the Bronx 200 Artist directory. Her work sits in private and corporate collections across the United States and abroad. Alfieri lives and works in the South Bronx, Port Morris.
