FORBEARANCE: A Concept for Our Time is a performance of Tamara Cashour’s choral composition based on a text "FORBEARANCE" by Ralph Waldo Emerson, for SATB professional chorus, bird callers and electronic sound effects. The performance will include an original film highlighting birds that reside in the Spuyten Duyvil area, short lectures/readings by bird experts, and an audience Q&A/discussion.
