Excavating the Rising Star

Excavating the Rising Star is an original documentary play about female archaeologists that excavated previously-unknown hominid fossils in 2013. Using interviews with the women, IVP composes a script that investigates how our perception of history determines our future. IVP will workshop Excavating at the Bronx Music Heritage Center Spring 2023.
