Make a sketchbook from scratch! In this free workshop, Sonja John will teach the unique technique of Japanese Stab Binding. Get hands on experience with tools like awls, bone folders, and binding needles and transform loose drawings, prints, or recycled paper into a handmade sketchbook.
Youth Arts Engagement Program workshops welcome participants between the ages of 12-24. Pizza and light refreshments will be provided. MetroCards available upon request based on need. Space is limited. RSVP required.
