BCA Presents Home with America: A Virtual Reality (VR) Reunion

 

Home with América is an interactive room-scale VR documentary created by Family Reunions Project founder, Alvaro M Morales. Home with América is an initiative producing personalized VR experiences to virtually transport undocumented immigrant families to the homes they cannot return to.

A preview of the pop-up VR experience will be followed by a conversation between FRP creators and selected members of Bronx-based immigrant justice advocates. The group will discuss the history and scope of the project, their artwork/advocacy work, and the impact of using virtual reality technology for immigrant + undocumented communities.
