Artist Sustainability Workshop Series: How to be an Artivist

The Bronx Beer Hall

Art is frequently used to amplify social justice causes and bring traditionally marginalized voices to the forefront. Especially in a changing metropolis like New York, the visual arts play a crucial role in raising awareness and advocating for community change. By examining global protest art through a human rights framework, we can learn how to harness the power of the arts for change. Join us in exploring the intersections of art and activism or Artivism and participate in collaborative art-making activities to amplify activism in your own community.
