The FreshStart Black Music History Performing Arts Series 2017

, ,

Since the official NYS Department of State inception of FreshStart-Cultural Theatre Arts Productions, Inc. ( FreshStart ) in April 2005, FreshStart has helped to promote and provide culturally underserved NYC communities and populations such as senior citizen centers and NYC adult homeless shelter populations interested in the arts with on-site spirit lifting, positive, integrated, productive cultural performing art programs. The FreshStart Black Music History performing arts series 2017  includes senior artists performing live songs and dance to the music of legendary black artists. There is also an open mic segment of the program which allows a few striving artists in the audience a chance to interact and engage by providing them with a platform to express themselves through the arts while exhibiting their talents.
