Clarisel Gonzalez is a entrepreneur and journalist with a mission to inform, empower and build community via media and social marketing. She is founder, editor and publisher of two independent digital media companies: Clarisel Media and PRSUN Communications.
Clarisel Media produces niche media brands including Clarisel Photo, Kitty & Doggie News and Bronx BizLife.
A Fordham University graduate, she has served as a writer and editor at a variety of print and online publications in Puerto Rico, Massachusetts and New York as well as in academia and the nonprofit sector.
She is producer of Bx3M, an independent and award-winning coming of age feature film about Latino teens growing up fast in the Bronx by writer and director Judith Escalona.
A photographer, she is also .president and founding member of the independent and grassroots Bronx Photographers Collaborative.
