
Tiffany Mellard is a performing artist and dance educator from Bronx, NY. Her training began at Mind Builders Creative Arts Center, and continued at Harlem School of the Arts and LaGuardia High School. She is an alumna of Florida State University and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Theater performance credits include: Hamilton, Memphis, Chicago The Musical, and West Side Story. Concert dance credits include works by Yara Travieso, Nathan Trice, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, and Gerri Houlihan. Choreography credits: Woo Woo Child (Soho Rep). She is a teaching artist with New York City Center, the Misty Copeland Foundation, and Brooklyn Ballet, and has taught workshops at Harvard University and Spotlight Performing Arts Center (Lima, Peru). She serves on the Board of Directors of Dancewave and advocates for access to dance education for NYC youth. Tiffany is passionate about collaborating with artists to tell stories about the Black woman experience.
