Alejandro Bonilla Jr is Black and Afro- Latino artist from The Bronx, New York. Raised by two hard working parents it would be his father who was a painter and a comic illustrator that inspired him to become an artist. Continuing his father’s legacy; Alejandro would get accepted into The High School of Art and Design as his father did. There he made it into Advanced Placement illustration earning scholarships for painting courses at both the Arts Student League and SVA (school of Visual Arts ) after earning his Advanced Artistic Diploma, Alejandro would continue gaining knowledge in Illustration by attending Fashion Institute of Technology where he’d earn his BFA. Alejandro has had his work in several galleries throughout New York City including Society of illustrators. Alejandro continues pursuing his love for art while creating paintings of all different mediums.
