Emily Henretta
Emily Henretta received an MFA in printmaking in 2011 from Columbia University School of the Arts, receiving fellowships and awards for my studies from Emily Fisher Landau and Toby Devan Lewis. I have been nominated for a Rema Hort Mann Award and been the recipient of multiple Bronx Council of the Arts Awards and a Bronx AIM fellowship. I have shown my work at the International Print Center of New York, Elizabeth Dee Gallery, The Bronx Museum, Kristen Lorello Gallery, The Moss Center for Visual Arts at Virginia Tech among others. I currently teach in the Visual Arts Department at Columbia University and the Textile and Surface Design Department at The Fashion Institute of Technology. She lives and works in the South Bronx with her family.
