In the Round draws inspiration from Alice Walker’s We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For and Jean Shinoda Bolen’s The Millionth Circle, exploring the symbolic and literal power of the circle as a vessel for healing, connection, and transformation. Across generations and cultures, circles have served as sacred gathering spaces, sites of ritual, restoration, and radical community. In this time of collective searching—for peace, grounding, and new ways to shape our society—this exhibition invites us to return to the wisdom of the circle. It calls us to lean on one another, to embrace simplicity, spirituality, compassion, and above all, love. With these as our pillars, how might we move forward together?
