Heidi was born in Providence, R.I. and attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, Medford, Ma. She was awarded a Traveling Scholarship from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston which enabled her to live and work in Venice, Italy.
