The Amazing Bronx River Flotilla, on May 13, 2017, will be a celebration of the outdoor health and recreation opportunities offered by the Bronx River. For this year’s event, choreographer Paloma McGregor of dance collective Angela’s Pulse will create a performance work that will be visible from shore and by boat. The durational performance will engage park goers at two parks that border the river (such as Starlight Park, Concrete Plant Park, Hunt’s Point Riverside Park, to be determined), as well as be visible by boat for those participating in the Flotilla.
