The Woodlawn Conservancy 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the "Dawn of the Jazz Age," celebrating the legacy of artists memorialized at The Woodlawn Cemetery. During April, they will commemorate Jazz Appreciation Month, coordinated with the Smithsonian Institution, when historic sites, jazz venues, music schools and performers across the nation celebrate this American art form.
