Elaine Musiwa is a Zimbabwean-born writer who currently lives in the Bronx. She writes about black identity and the lives of immigrant families. Her writing has appeared in Vogue, Allure, New York Magazine, and Ebony. She's received a summer fellowship in creative writing at Rutgers- Camden University and is currently at work on a book of fiction and a collection of personal essays.
