Christian Breed

Christian Breed (1981) received a BFA from The Rhode Island School of Design in 2004, an MFA from Hunter College (CUNY) in 2017, and an Advanced Curatorial Certificate from Hunter College (CUNY) in 2018. He was a 2018 AIM Fellow at The Bronx Museum of the Arts, and will be featured in the exhibition Bronx Calling in 2022. His work has been included in Wet Paint, curated by Harry Cooper (Workhouse Arts Center, 2017), Confluence: Uncertain Archives (Hunter College Art Galleries, 2017), Premio Razzano (Museo del Sannio, Benevento, Italy, 2010) Apeiron (solo) (Mimmo Scognamiglio Arte Contemporanea, Naples, Italy, 2009) Biennale Giovani (Pinacoteca di Monza, Italy, 2009), Premio Maretti (Galleria di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Della Repubblica di San Marino, 2005.) He is a 2015 recipient of a Kossak Travel Grant, and he co-curated Copy Translate Repeat: Works from the Coleccion Patricia Phelps de Cisneros in 2018.
