Married with two sons, Sam has won the Bronx Council on the Arts BRIO poetry award several times. He has taught poetry at the Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music and the Soundview branch of the New York Public Library. He’s been published in Alaska Quarterly Review, Nadir, SheMom, Green Kill, and The Little Magazine.
