
Ian Keldoulis is an Australian writer who prefers shade to sunshine, so he moved to New York City in the 1980s, the past 25 years he’s lived in The Bronx. In his early career, Ian wrote for PBS and Showtime. A stint in publishing followed with articles in The New York Times and New York Magazine. Subsequently, Ian transitioned to business advertising creating materials for Barclays, Ricoh, and Deloitte. Recently returning to screenwriting, Ian has received accolades in competitions worldwide leading to teaching television writing at La Escuela Itinerante de Cine y Narrativa in Mexico City and running screenwriting a program at the Oaxaca Film Festival. Ian has written two books, America’s Youngest Hostages, a non-fiction book on the US foster care system, and Toyz On Demand! a satirical novel about Santa Claus when the North Pole melts. Ian serves on the board of the Bronx Independent Cinema Center.
