Ubuntu, meaning humanity towards others, serves as the cornerstone for Tijay's project. It focuses attention on seniors' connection to migration, social justice, and social lives. Using African wax fabric and other assorted materials, participants will create mixed-media portraits that would be exhibited at the senior centers together with stories shared.
