D.M. Charles is an African American comic book writer living in The Bronx. His interest in writing began when he rediscovered his love of reading through fantasy novels and comic books. He began working on his first story, Ninja Express, in 2009 as a solo work. He has since worked on several comic books. His most recent work is the superhero comedy series, Cubicle Crusaders.
