YUCA will collaborate with SinXero (SX), the founder and Creative Director of “TAG Public Arts Project”, on a 20 x 40 mural project in the Highbridge section of the Bronx. The mural will depict and memorialize Bronx political and social organizations such as the Black Panthers and Young Lords Party with the goal of educating our youth about such groups and utilizing the artistic process as a platform for inspiration in mobilizing youngsters to work toward addressing today’s social problems within their own community. The project will bring the community together to celebrate culture utilizing the visual arts.
