
Sam Newsome is a renowned saxophonist, music professor, and author from the South Bronx. In 2024, he released his latest solo album, Live at the Catalytic Sound Festival, highlighting his avant-garde style and mastery of the soprano saxophone. Building on his 2023 success, Newsome also unveiled two acclaimed duo albums: Soprano-Logues with Dave Liebman and Cosmic Unconsciousness Unplugged with Jean-Michel Pilc, showcasing his dynamic interplay and innovative sound.
