En Foco is seeking a Grants & Development Manager to join our team. This part-time role plays a key role in sustaining and expanding our mission-driven programs by leading the development of grant proposals, coordinating funder communications, and helping shape our fundraising strategy. Working closely with the Managing Director and program staff, the ideal candidate will bring strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a deep belief in the power of community-centered arts. Responsibilities
Research and track potential public and private funding opportunities.
Draft compelling proposals, letters of inquiry, and grant applications.
Assist with preparing supporting documentation and materials for submissions.
Maintain and update a fundraising calendar, including deadlines for applications, reports, and acknowledgments.
Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop an annual fundraising plan and calendar.
Support the preparation and submission of grant reports in compliance with funder requirements.
Track and manage fundraising budgets and proposal pipelines.
Maintain En Foco’s funder, donor, and prospect database.
Draft updates, acknowledgments, and narrative reports for current and potential funders.
Support internal planning around donor engagement and promotional communications.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or grant writing.
Bachelor’s degree in Development, communications/arts management, or related field
Demonstrable commitment to community arts development programs and initiatives
Demonstrated track record in maintaining positive relationships with non-profit arts executives in delivering quality grant requests on a timely basis
Demonstrable experience and skill in translating the organization’s program plans and aspirations into developing successful grant requests
Proficiency in communications technology, including Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms
Proficiency in budget development and tracking
Experience in project planning and management, time and resource management, creative problem solving, attention to detail, and sound decision-making.
