Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) is celebrating over 40 years as a private, non-profit membership organization that is the official cultural agency of Bronx County. Recognized nationally as a leading arts service organization in providing financial services (small grants programs), professional development, cultural services and arts programs, BCA serves a multicultural constituency in excess of 1.2 million residents. You may additionally contact BCA's BRIO Program Manager for more information about individual artists at BRIO@bronxarts.org, or call 718-931-9500 x19 to find out more about a Bronx arts organization.

There are no staff positions at this time. You may submit your resume to edf@bronxarts.org. Longwood Art Gallery maintains an artists' registry which is occasionally consulted for future exhibitions. Please see the Longwood FAQs for more info.

QHow do I form a not-for-profit organization?
AIn New York State, please visit the State Attorney General's Web site. Find the necessary information and download the required paperwork at http://www.charitiesnys.com/guides_advice_new.html.
QWho do I contact to share and promote my cultural/art event or news?
ATo submit events to be listed on BCA's cultural event calendar, please click the red botton on the right hand side of the calendar webpage and fill out the form. If you are a BRIO award alum, please additionally send your events to brio@bronxarts.org. You may also contact our Information Manager at 718-931-9500 x33.
QIs BCA interested in collaborating with my organization to produce programming in my district?

BCA collaborates with cultural organizations, Bronx merchants, city and governmental agencies and schools. I you would like to co-produce an event, please call 718-931-9500 x24 or email creativeeconomy@bronxarts.org.
