A Program Brings Art to Seniors in the Bronx

SU-CASA connects artists with seniors at their local community centers and positively impacts the well-being of older adults through multidisciplinary arts activities. Past activities have included memoir writing, crafting, dance and theater production, and many more. Programming is scattered throughout the Bronx, providing a creative outlet for seniors near and far to express themselves as they please.

Other Opportunities

Seeing It Through is a professional development workshop series offering assistance to creative people, organizations, and those seeking cultural grants.

BCA grants are made possible through the generous support of the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) in partnership with the New York City Council; and the Decentralization Program of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Andrew Cumo and the New York State Legislature.
