2nd Annual Bronx Heroes Comic Book Convention

4th Annual Mott Haven Open Artists Studio Tour

The first Culture Trolley Saturdays event of 2010 starts at Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos at noon on Saturday, May 1. The trolley will shuttle visitors to studios and art spaces from 12:00-5:00pm. 4th Annual studio tour maps will be posted online soon and will be available at all venues.

June 6, 2009 Viva Cultura Trolley delivered its riders at Rincon Criollo,Brook Avenue and East 158th Street. The day featured Bx Indie artists (r., top to bottom) Norka Nadal – Bambula, Obanilu Allende y Pura Plena, Matthew Gonzalez y su Cumbalaya. More than 300 people enjoyed an afternoon of music and festivities.


A typical Saturday Trolley begins with a meet-and greet reception at 12:00 noon at the Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos Community College.

The trolley bell clangs at 12:30pm, indicating the trolley’s departure from Hostos to make its way to the day’s cultural events and it will make continuous loops.

Passengers can simply enjoy the trolley ride or they can hop on and off at different stops along the route to enjoy the day’s free activities.
